Obituary of Larry D. Brown

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, while at George Washington University Hospital, God called Larry Donnell Brown, home to eternal rest.
Larry Donnell Brown was born on August 4, 1957 in Cheverly, MD to the late Charles Brooks and Alice Brown. He was the second oldest of six children. He was educated in Prince George’s County Public school system.
Larry married Sherry Brown in December 1978, from that 16 year union two children were born: Shelita Brown and Tonia Brown. He worked as a truck driver for CMI Companies. He enjoyed driving and fishing. Larry was a dedicated Washington Redskins fan!
Larry is survived by his two daughters Shelita Brown and Tonia Barksdale (Robert Barksdale); two brothers Ronnie Brown (Joyce Brown) and Lester Brown (Veronica Brown); two sisters Denise Brown-High and Melita Janrhett; six grandchildren Sandria Miller, Mika Riddick III, Toni Waller, Davaughn Brown, Patrick Waller and Onesha Brown; one great grandchild Ava Miller; a special friend Phyllis Henry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles Brooks; mother Alice Madden; son David Douglas and brother Kirk Brown.
