Obituary of Michael Eugene Dunlap

Michael “Poncho” Dunlap was born in Washington, D.C on March 12, 1951, to parents Helen Parrish (nee Meekins) and Earl Baldwin. He attended D.C. public schools, graduating from Eastern High School.

He enlisted in the United States Army as a young man and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Michael worked at USPS and Giant. He ful lled his professional
dream, when he established The Baldwin Group Trucking, as an Owner/Operator.

On March 12, 2017, Michael Eugene Dunlap, aka “Poncho,” age 66, passed on to his eternal rest, at his home in Washington, D.C.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Helen & Thomas Meekins and Earl Baldwin.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael Dunlap Jr, Marsha Dunlap

Crouch, Gabriel Jackson, Kasie Warren, Marques Ford, Mauryse Ford
and Anthony Dunlap; his brother Thomas L. Meekins, Jr and his wife Arnita
and their three children. His fourteen (14) grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
