Obituary of Cecil T. Murry III
Cecil T. Murry “CDog” was born May 10, 1967 in Washington, DC to Thomasine and the late Cecil T. Murry II. He attended Prince George’s County Public Schools where he played football at High Point High. Cecil was a self professed die hard Redskins’ fan. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially hisgrandchildren while spreading joy, love, and laughter.
Cecil ran a successful catering business and enjoyed being a chef at various restaurants in the metropolitan area. He also had passion for fixing cars and painting. He was considered to be a jack of all trades.Through various walks of life, Cecil touched the lives of many people who in turn became his lifelong friends. He was loyal and had a sense of dignity to those he met along his journey. As we remember Cecil for being a friend, father, husband or a loved family member, one thing is for certain, we all loved him but most importantly he loved his wife,children, family and friends. He will forever be missed.
Cecil leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 35 years, Lisa Murry; 4 children, Tiffanii Sanders (Aisha), Cecil T. Murry IV (Ashley), Christopher Murry (Shannon), and Shawnee Thompson Bakovic (Bojan); 8 grandchildren, Sean Thompson, Chanel Murry, Camari Murry, Madison Johnson, Chris Murry, Julian Murry, Dahmi’yus Jones, and Carlee Murry; mother, Thomasine Murry; 2 sisters, Thomasine Hall, and Sylvia Shelton (Delmore); 6 brothers, Kenneth Hall, Brian Hall, Vance Hall (Regina), Alexander Hall, Alan Hall, and Darren Hall. Also cherishing his memories are nieces, nephews, a host of other family members and friends including Leroy, Kevin, Marlon, Mike, and Johnathan.
