The Life Story of Lenard M. Thompson
Lenard M. Thompson known as “Pete” was born on July 22, 1965 in Washington DC to the late Lois Thompson and late Lenwood. He attended Washington DC public schools. Growing up he loved football. He played for the Woodland Raiders. Learning from his coach and mentor, Calvin Woodland, he would later become a coach of the Glenridge Falcons and Pop Warner teams. Pete loved coaching and mentoring the youth to make good decisions in their life.
Pete loved spending time with his family, granddaughter, and friends. He would have you laughing from the time he walked in until the time he would leave. Through various parts of his life he touched the lives of many. He had so many people who looked up to him and respected him. He had the greatest sense of humor with his jokes. People always called him a comedian. We will always remember him as one of the greatest. Necole was the love of his life, and will always have a place in his heart. Darlene was his best friend, and gave him three beautiful children who are splitting images of him.
Pete leaves to cherish his memories with his wife “Necole” of 15 years, his three children “Dominique Thompson, Darius Thompson, and Drew Thompson” his best friend and the mother of his kids “Darlene Cash” his one and only granddaughter “Leilani Neal” who refers to him as “Papadocks” his sister and dearest to his heart “Lisa Thompson Murry” and his 3 brothers, the late “Reginald Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, and Robert Thompson.” Who also cherish Pete memories are his nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members, colleagues and friends.
