Obituary of Tavon Davis
Tavon Decarlos Davis departed this life on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Lanham, Maryland, the son of Calvin Davis Sr. and the late Deborah Ellis-Davis. Tavon was born on October 18, 1992, and grew up in Glenarden, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his mother Deborah Ellis-Davis, grandparents Archie Ellis Sr., and Irene Broadwater-Ellis and his devoted grandmother Estelle Terrell-Davis.
Tavon attended Charles H. Flower High School in Springdale, Maryland. Tavon was known to family as Tay and known as Fat boy by his friends. Tavon worked at various jobs and one was a driver for metro access. Tavon was a true friend, enjoyed helping others, and was always there for them in their time of need. Tavon was quiet, love fast cars, making remix’s to songs, drinking chardonnay, and his laugh would make anyone around him laugh too.
Tavon will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Tavon leaves to cherish his memory: his father Calvin Davis Sr., step mom Deatra Davis, and grandma Tea; three brothers Calvin Davis Jr., Jalen Perry, and Garrod Perry; four aunts: Nicole Ellis, Patricia Chapman, Joan Price, Teressia Peterson; seven uncles: Nathaniel Ellis, Archie Ellis, James (Marge) Terrell, (Junior) Savoy Terrell, Ronnie Terrell Sr., (Roscoe) Mike Davis, and Alvin Davis; devoted friends Deanna Berry, Stephon Brock, and Jamal Hayes; cousins: Donnell, Donovan, Aiden, Tendaji, Yvette (Jesse) McNeil, Shaina, Marquita, Ronnie Jr., Lolita, LaToya (Victor) Munoz, Marcus, Anthony, Jesse Jr., Jalyn, Brianna, Saniya, Corey, Sanorris, CoriMari, Cameron, Mason, Brailynn, and Kiyahlynn; a host of relatives and friends.
