It is with a heavy heart but the deepest of love and respect that I'm saying good bye to my uncle. He has been the most supportive father figure this girl could have. From boys to finances to grades he's always been honest and open. He was the gentlest soul I know I'll ever come across. I'll miss you always uncle Arnette.
Prayers of comfort and my deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Arnett Anderson. He was an outstanding orthodontist. I feel like I grew up in that office. I wore braces from 6th grade until my first year at Howard (mainly because I was stubborn and wouldn’t wear the bands like I was supposed to.). I often get many compliments on my smile thanks to Dr. Anderson. Dr. and Mrs. Anderson supported me when I went to Russia and asked if I would bring them back amber jewelry, which I was more than happy to do. Dr. Anderson was always so patient and kind. A class act and truly unforgettable.

As for our beautiful and brilliant Cousin Arnett, we know that all of our loved ones gone before us were happy to meet him behind the veil upon his arrival. We thought we would have fellowshipped with him at our "earthly" reunion. He was so generous. Unfortunately, the pandemic cancelled it. But oh what a beautiful reunion he's having Over Yonder with those that we miss and haven't seen in a long time. He was a "True Bone Anderson" through and through. My father Flavius Galiber did right by me when he picked Dr. Anderson as my orthodontist. I loved Dr. Anderson and looked forward to my appointments. I remember his lovely daughter mixing the cement for those god awful bands that had to be cemented in place. His gentle chairside manner stays with me to this day. I model his behavior as I care for my patients.

I remember my first day working with Dr. Anderson and I decided I would not come back because I did not have a clue of orthodontics at all. With his teaching and support I was assisting him by the second day. Who knew that my working with him also led to my becoming a part of his wonderful family.
