Obituary of Arron Wendell Maxwell

Arron Wendell Maxwell I was born on October 19, 1958 to Laverne Fernandez in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He spent his formal years in Pensacola, Florida where he completed his high school diploma at Pensacola High School. 

 

He relocated to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Boston University in hopes of becoming a medical technician. In Boston, he met the love of his life, Sharon, who soon became his wife. Their union blessed them with four beautiful children, Shameeka (Chris), Tiesha Maxwell, Artillya Maxwell, and Arron Maxwell II (Markia). He was also blessed with ten grandchildren (Rakiya, Christopher Jr., Chase, Arriyona, Nia, Ezra Jr., Arron III, Sirron, Charleigh, and Paris. 

 

He held many positions of employment throughout his life. He worked for Harvard University in the archive department. He was a patent researcher for a patent attorney law firm. He worked for as a route manager for Sodibar Systems. However, his most cherished position was as a supply technician at the DC Fire Department. He loved the fire department and enjoyed serving and engaging with the community. 

 

He had many interests and hobbies. He loved art. He drew cartoons for a local newspaper in Pensacola, Florida. He also enjoyed music, spending time with his family, running off prospects of his children, and cracking jokes. He had a great sense of humor and a smile that lit up a room. He spent 62 years on this glorious earth and was called many names such as husband, father, friend but most importantly grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memories a host of friends and family.
