Obituary of Bruce Erwin Marshall
Bruce was born into this world on February 22, 1953 to De- lores Marshall and James Holmes. He was raised and later adopted by his stepdad, Charles Marshall. Bruce grew up in the Metropolitan area and attended DC Public Schools.
At an early age Bruce taught himself how to play the drums; which led him to play in various bands around the city and also travel the world. Bruce met and fell in love with the love of his life Patricia Marshall. They would later marry and have three children Christal, Andracos, and Catrina.Bruce loved to entertain people with his music. Anybody that knew Bruce, knew that he loved fried chicken. He was a happy and free spirited person.
Bruce leaves to cherish his memory; his three kids Christal (Darrel), Andracos (Chante), and Catrina (Laron); his 7 sib- lings James, Jean, Barbara, Marilyn, Charlene, Charles Jr. and Antoinette; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Delores Marshall, stepdad Charles Marshall. sister Sonia Hardy and grandson Derrick Whit- taker Jr.
