Obituary of Robert Jay Gould III

Robert Jay Gould III, (affectionately known to his family as “Sugarman”) at age 67 years, was called to join our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home in Glenn Dale, MD.  Robert was born on Tuesday, March 17, 1953 and was the eldest son to the late Robert Jay Gould Jr, and Josephine Garrett-Gould.

Robert leaves a part of his heart with his devoted wife, Joanne Gould.  He leaves his spirit and encouragement with his daughters Kim and Lyneese, his sons Anthony and Anthony, and six grandchildren.  He leaves everlasting memories with his sisters Diana and Renee, brother Terry and many other family members – too many to name.  Most important, Robert leaves love and hope to everyone he left behind.

Even though most people knew that Robert’s health was declining, his untimely passing caught the family off-guard, and we wish to honor him by having a funeral fundraiser in lieu of flowers.  Any contribution amount is overwhelmingly appreciated.
