Obituary of Sarah L. Johnson-West
Sarah Lou Johnson West was born October 2, 1943 to the late Annie B. Aaron and Jesse Johnson Sr. She was the second of fourteen children. Sarah gave her life to Christ at an early age. During her younger years she attended Loveless Elementary School and Carver Senior High School.
She was a great seamstress and an amazing housekeeper, as well as a great mother and wife. She was married to Joseph S. West. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph S. West, mother Annie B. Aaron, father Jesses Johnson, her three sons Harvey B. Johnson, Joseph S. West, Jr. and Joshua E. West and 6 siblings.
She leaves behind a loving and devoted daughter Linda Johnson (Waldorf, MD) 5 grandchildren: Michael Johnson (Wilkes Barre, PA), Yancy Collins (Alexandria, VA) Hannah West (Joseph West, MO), Keoishaa Jones (Joshua West, Al) and Aniya Johnson (Harvey Johnson, Brandon, FL), 5 great grandchildren, devoted sister Ida G. Winfrey, and other siblings Doris Kelly, Eugene Kelly, Jerome Kelly, Emmett Jones Jr (Ashley), Sandra Jones, Lisa Jones and Bobby Jones and a host of other relatives.
