Obituary of James Austin Jones

James Austin Jones, 76, of Portsmouth, Virginia passed away on April 8, 2021 in Annandale, Virginia. James was a loving spouse, father, and grandfather. He was born February 3, 1945, in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of late James and Mable Jones. He attended I.C. Norcom High School. On July 24, 1971, he married Gloria Delores Jones. He served 20 years in the United States Navy and retired.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Jones (d.2020) and his daughter Lisa Denise Jones (d.2004).
He is survived by: two sons Nate and Michael Jones, daughter Angela Jones Wilder (Baasil), grandchildren Gabriella Jones, Gavyn Jones, and Lisa Wilder.
