Obituary of Jerome Joseph Wallace
Jerome Joseph Wallace, also known as “Chin” was born on August 5, 1959, to the late Stewart and Flaggy Wallace, at D.C. General Hospital, in Washington, D.C.
Jerome accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Chin received his formal education in D.C. Public Schools.
Everyone who knows Chin, knew how much he loved the Washington Redskins. He was very caring & giving and would give his last to anybody who needs it. He loved family gatherings, especially when it came down to play spaces. Boy was he persuasive, he could get you to believe anything. He enjoyed dancing and doing anything to make you laugh. Everything about Jerome will be missed especially him making his famous “Charlie taters.”
Jerome Departed his life on Saturday, September 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father Stewart Wallace, his mother Flaggy Wallace, two brothers William and James Wallace, and one aunt Elizabeth Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Two daughters, Shaunique Pitt and Tiffany Crayton; one son Andre Crayton; two grandchildren, Sean Garcia Jr. and Saun’ae Pitt; two sisters Garrine Wallace and Virginia Mumtaz; five brothers, Alonzo (Barbara), St. Anthony, Edward, Mikel, and Arthur (Sarita) Wallace; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
