Obituary of Dimitrie J. Jackson

Dimitrie Johnathan James Jackson, the energetic, courageous and adventurous son of Mark Bunch “Shorty-Redds", the late Bobby W. Segears Sr. and the late Cassandra Jackson was born in Washington, DC on Tuesday, September 12, 1989. His life was cut short on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the age of 31. Even though he is no longer with us, he leaves an abundance of memories as well as a legacy for us to cherish in his daughter and community work that we will live on.

Dimitrie was affectionately known by many names: Mitrie, Meechie, Bonez, Jizzle, Bliz and Trap Attorney. He was educated in the DC Public School System. Dimitrie held various jobs throughout his adult life such as Security Guard, Construction Worker and most recently a Conceirge, but his passion was law. Dimitrie used his life experiences as an opportunity to educate himself about case law. He could be seen all over the internet and social media educating the masses about their individual rights through his own personal experiences.

Dimitrie absolutely LOVED his daughter Amora. She was his absolute pride and joy. Dimitrie was not only an amazing father but also a best friend to Amora. Dimitrie loved his family and always adorned everyone with hugs and kisses and that big ol’ smile. Being a great father was Dimitrie’s #1 priority and it was evident in how he loved his daughter.

He is survived by his beautiful daughter Amora, father Mark, siblings Bobby Jr. (Roslyn), Arnethia, Deven (Mia), Rudy, Mark, Raven and Brandon (Erica), his nieces and nephews Ra’mel, Janaye, De’Mari, Savannah, Peyton, Akilah, Kayden, Karmen, Akil, Deven II, Dylan III, Samar & Samai, his Aunt Niecy and a host of other family and friends.
