Obituary of Beverly Ann Ambush Dawson

Please share a memory of Beverly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Beverly Ann Ambush, 61, of Barnesville, Maryland, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2021, New Year’s Eve at 4:15am at Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, Maryland.

Beverly was born at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland to Eleanor Marie Ambush and Leroy Francis Ambush on June 3, 1960. She attended Monocacy Elementary and Poolesville Junior High and High school and later went to marry her children’s father Paul Dawson in Frederick, Maryland. She attended school to earn a certificate for Information Technology. She worked for several companies doing Executive Assistant and accounting work and was an engineer at Cable T.V Montgomery for many years, employed in her much younger years at JCPenney’s restaurant as waitress, and was the co-owner and operator at Flight Time Xpress for several years. My mother enjoyed writing, listening to oldies but goodies music, looking at horror movies with her granddaughter Aaliyah and watching old black and white movies, especially short stories about Big Foot encounters.

In her spare time, she enjoyed doing calculations as math was her favorite and she was exceptionally good at it.  She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren in which she assisted to raise and oh, how she spoiled them with love and kisses you name it. She was also a philanthropist to all she knew or didn’t know.  If you needed food or didn’t need food she was going to provide, money she gave generously to all those in need even just offering to help.  It didn’t matter what it was, Beverly loved hard, strong, and unconditionally. Growing up, my mother fed our neighborhood at times leaving bags of groceries at people’s doors.  She had no enemies and was greatly loved. If you didn’t love her, you never knew what love really was. She just wanted to be happy and wanted the best for me and my brother; even though she gave us tough love with her words, she truly loved us more than life and wanted the best for her children. We will greatly miss our mother and there will never be another person like her ever. She had a heart of gold and was a true and loyal friend, mother, grandmother, and wife to the end.

Beverly Ann Dawson is survived by her children Shekeyah Ambush – Ables, Paul Ambush; her brother Hayes Ambush; Sister’s Eleanor Ambush, Darline Ambush, Doris Ambush, Ella Maxine Ambush, Renita Espinoza, and husband Paul Espinoza; Cheryl Ambush.
