Obituary of Zamari Ali Wilson
Zamari "Mari" Ali Wilson, departed this life by drowning off the shores of Virginia Beach, Virginia on the morning of Sunday, July 3rd.
Born to mother Brenda Eason Wilson and father Raymond Wilson on August 5, 2009, he is the youngest sibling to sister Zaniya Wilson and brother Robert Hampton.
Zamari was only 12 years old, anticipating the start of his 8th grade year, having already begun a graphic art business, designing mixtape covers and logos for companies. His art prints and canvases are in many homes. Zamari was also preparing his portfolio of art and participating in many extra-curricular activities, including soccer and playing the keyboard and drums. He was to start Civic Changemakers on July 11th. Talk about a well rounded individual! He planned to audition to attend Duke Ellington High School.
He would have easily gotten into Duke! Zamari was definitely a young man with goals and dreams. Him drowning seems so unfair.
However, he is with God now and God makes no mistakes. May He comfort you and bring you peace that surmounts all understanding. Zamari is ok!
He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, paternal grandfather and friends to include but not limited to: DeShon Eason,Toni Eason, Rosa Bell Carrington, Santae J. Tribble, Dorsey Perkins, Roy Carrington, Elaine Carrington and a host of other family and friends. His maternal grandmother Olivia Eason is already in heaven. RIP to them both!
