Obituary of Marcel Deontae Hundley
Marcel Deontae Hundley was born on May 8, 1997 to Kendrick Hundley and Suzanne (Suzi) Creamer at Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
To know Marcel was to love him. His affectionate smile and laugh could light up any dark room. His joking yet caring heart made it easy to love him. He had a special way of uplifting you. Marcel was young at heart but very wise beyond his years. If you needed him no matter the situation he was there. Always a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, one that had your back, a big teddy bear to love on, or just a homie by your side, Marcel mastered all roles. He loved his family and friends with all his heart, would go to great measures just to make sure that they were happy and okay. A true genuine soul that will be missed immeasurably.
Marcel received his education in Fairfax County, Loudoun County and Baltimore City Public Schools.
Marcel loved football. He enjoyed watching the game but playing it even more. He played Football all throughout his youth and attended a few football camps in his adolescent years. He also played Junior Varsity his freshman year at Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore Maryland. Marcel also had a love for music. He would attempt to play any instrument that he believed he could from the drums to the guitar. He loved them all. Marcel shared a special bond with his family, especially his siblings and first cousins. He was always the first to reach out to ask what he needed to bring, who’s house and what time would the food be ready, so he could make his way. He prided himself on being one of the first to arrive at all functions: birthdays, graduations, holidays, cookouts, family reunions, baby showers, you name it, Marcel wasn’t missing the Party! Marcel also loved traveling. He traveled to E. Saint Louis frequently to visit family. He also lived there for short stints of time. He was well-connected to all his close kin. He also resided in Baltimore, Maryland and Lincolnton, North Carolina. Anywhere his father went Marcel was sure to follow him. Marcel also spent time living in Clarksville, Tennessee with his Godmother. There was no limit on his love. He would travel near and far for his loved ones and had no problem doing so. Marcel’s mission in life was just to live life to the fullest, love every minute, and to simply spread and show love
everywhere he traveled throughout his lifetime.
