Deacon Ronald Milton Chase Sr., (Chase) made his transition from earth to Glory on Wednesday, February 28, 2018

Ronald Milton Chase Sr, was born on December 12th, 1957 in Washington DC, to the late Ernest and Veronica Israel. Chase was educated in Charles County Public School System from early childhood until completion of high school in 1974 from Thomas Stone High. While attending high school, Ronald (Chase) took interest in swimming, later becoming a lifeguard for several years. While working as a lifeguard, Ronald (Chase) was introduced to the automotive industry by a childhood friends’ father Mr. Dent. Ronald showed an interest in painting cars immediately which became his profession for over 35 years. Ronald was well known for his expertise in painting cars throughout Prince Georges and Charles County Maryland. Ronald worked at various Autobody shops not limited to SSS Auto Body, Pages Auto Body and RJ Autobody. Chase was known as the “Glassman”, his gift of painting spoke for him.

In 1985 while working in Clinton, Maryland as a skilled professional Autobody Painter he was introduced to his loving wife Sandra Estella Ruth Ford by is longtime friend John Pittman. (Proverbs 18:22) The two instantly connected and was joined in Holy Matrimony on March 23, 1985. Ronald wasn’t a man of many words, yet he loved and appreciated his wife Sandra. Ronald was a devoted husband who took pride in taking care of his wife and children.  In the years to follow, Ronald and Sandra stared a family of their own that included six children; Tianna Veronica, Ronald Milton Jr, Rondell Matthew, Reco Mandale, Titania Victoria and Isiah Joseph. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his kids and wife. He also enjoyed teaching his sons the skills that where needed to succeed in the automotive industry. He also taught his girls the business side of the automotive industry. During his free time Ronald (Chase) enjoyed playing pool, racing cars & motorcycles, taking rides on the water, fishing and skiing. Later in life Ronald (Chase) and Sandra was asked by Gary and Theolla Ford (Sandra’s brother and sister in law) if it would be okay to take their 5 children to church.

After attending several services at the Righteous Church of Holiness, Tianna wanted to join the church. That lead her siblings to want to join the church also. With the press of the children, Sandra came to a service and agreed to join the church. Ronald was invited to a baptism service on January 12, 1998, where the entire Chase family was baptized in the name of “Jesus”. Ronald received the Holy Ghost in July of the same year. Ronald was a dedicated man of God. In the late summer of 2006, the Chase family joined Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Ministries. In 2007 Ronald was ordained a Deacon, and a faithful deacon he was. He enjoyed ministering and taking his family to hear Gospel quartet singing.  He served as an Assistant to the Brother-Hood Auxiliary in which he later became the President. Ronald was an dedicated member of many auxiliary's at his church to include Chairman of the Deacon Board, member of the Trustee Board, The Temple and The Men’s Chorus, AWCF Unarmed Security team and he was assigned to be the Church’s handyman.

Ronald also took pride and enjoyed being a Grandfather to his 5 Grandchildren, Leon Kenneth Jr., Ryan Nathaniel, Reco Mandale, Aubri Renee and Evan Josiah. Spending time with his very spoiled grandchildren was something that kept a smile on his face. From teaching his grandsons how to Praise the Lord, to soaking his feet with Little Ms. Aubri. He often brought them home special treats. He looked forward to meeting his soon coming grandchildren from Tianna and Ronald Jr, he loved his growing family. Ronald was a very respectful and respected man who would offer a helping hand to anyone in need.  He accepted some into his home and never judged anyone. Deacon Chase exemplified servanthood. He was a pursuer of the truth and a follower of the word. He was a comforter, imparted wisdom, a prayer warrior, a listener, full of compassion, forgiving and a giver. He gave himself to others but above all,  he dedicated his life to Christ. His favorite scriptures were Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”, and the ENTIRE book of Revelations.
