Obituary of Terrell Randolph Carter
Terrell Randolph Carter was born Wednesday, January 20, 1982 at DC General Hospital in Washington, DC. He transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
Terrell was the first-born child to Randolph and Cynthia Carter, a strong protector and big brother to his siblings. He came to know the Lord at an early age; and was baptized at New Macedonia Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Terrell rededicated his life to Christ as an adult and became a valuable member of True Freedom International Ministries in Upper Marlboro, Maryland where his faith grew. Terrell served on the TFIM Praise and Worship Ministry as a drummer and was a Minister in Training.
On June 23rd, 2013, Terrell was united in holy matrimony to Jamie Fair. From this union their blended family grew to seven, the number of completeness and perfection. Terrell was very family-oriented and a devoted dad that loved nothing more than spending time with his children and making them laugh.
Terrell was fun-loving, kind-hearted, and multi-talented. Terrell had numerous hobbies. He loved playing the drums at church and was a member of a local go-go band. Terrell was also skilled at cutting hair, a champion at playing chess and an excellent chef. He enjoyed all types of sports such as swimming and baseball and loved playing basketball with his fellas. Most importantly, Terrell was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, and everyone knew it.
Terrell was a humble man of a few words, but his smile could brighten up the day of anyone he encountered. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew and friend. Terrell was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be missed tremendously. He leaves behind fond memories for all whom encountered his presence to cherish. Terrell leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Jamie Carter; five children, Kearra Lashea (17), Jeremiah Michael (14), Danae Gianni (13), Adrienne Olivia (9), and Trinity Joi (5). His father, Randolph R. Carter Jr., mother, Cynthia Carter; three siblings Brandon (Camilia), Ranishia and Jermaine. Mother-in-Love, Emma Fair-Avery; Brother-in-Love, Oliver Fair; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
