You were called away too early,
by the heavens above.
Rest in peace my dad, my friend,
my first true love.
Ripped away by fate,
Torn apart mortally,
Separated by death,
But loving you eternally.
Even in our darkest moments,
we can hold on to the promise of permanent joy in the company of God.
