I have known Ms. Davenport for almost 20 years. We worked together at Detox-Building 12 on the grounds of DC General Hospital. I loved her clam and gentle spirit. I will miss walking by her office and smelling the freshness. She loved fragrances. Ms. Davenport loved her clients and they loved her. The clients would often come in to the ARC (Assessment and Referral Center) stating "I want to see Ms. Davenport". Ms. Davenport will be missed. We all know that she knew The LORD. She wasn't a part time Christian she walked with the LORD every day. Ms. Davenport may you rest in peace. I was blessed to have met 2 of her brothers Kenny, Donald and her cousin Ricky. To all of the family may God continue to strengthen and comfort you at this time.
