To Zipporah Brown, Brown and Stevens Families:
On behalf of the Senior Minister, Assistant Senior Minister, Clergy, Board Officers, Board Members, Director of Christian Education, and Distinguished Faculty of the Miracle Fellowship Gospel Ministries, Inc., we send our sincere condolences and prayers to you Zipporah Brown regarding the lost of your youngest son, Raekwon Brown ("Raekwon"), and to the Brown and Stevens Families. Raekwon loved his respective families and was a devoted Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, and Cousin. His sweet disposition, compassion, empathy, and love were respected by many of his co-workers and friends.
Raekwon was an essential part of the Class of 2016 Commencement Ceremony of the Miracle Fellowship Gospel Ministries, Inc. by serving to clean up the sanctuary after the Commencement Ceremony, which was held at the Upper Room Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. We greatly appreciated his service.
Raekwon Brown, along with his cousin, Joel Stevens, attended services at the Messianic Synagogue in Columbia, Maryland with their maternal Grandmother, Rev. Dr. Jacqueline G. Stevens. Raekwon enjoyed the service so much that he recorded it, and sat quietly, observing and absorbing the Gospel message and principles that were taught by the Rabbi.
It is our prayer that God would strengthen, comfort, and keep the families during this hour and the coming days ahead because we know that Our Lord specializes in every area of our lives and is touched by the feeling of our infirmities.
In Christ,
Rev. Dr. Jacqueline G. Stevens, Senior Minister
Rev. Dr. Willie B. Allen, Jr., Assistant Senior Minister
Rev. Dr. Winifred C. Parker, Associate Minister
Rev. Dr. Ginger Cornwell, Associate Minister and Director of Christian Education
Board Officers, Board Members, and Faculty of the Miracle Fellowship Gospel Ministries, Inc.
