He was my chief on the Seattle he was good to me see I was kid of bullied so much that I went ua for a bit that man cared so much that he got me out of that division so I would say in cause I was such a hard worker and I did ant because of his actions I rose up in rank and made e4 I was a qm got out of deck he left the Seattle after he made officer he came up to the bridge and we talked and laughing made jokes he told me he was proud of me I did good and got out of deck that felt good coming from him he touched me

Trevor was a co-worker and friend. I was on his interview team at SAIC and he was the perfect person to hire on to the team. I transitioned to DHS in early 2010 and forwarded him the position announcement for the SSO job. He would joke with me that it was my “fault” he was at DHS.
Trevor was a great person to work with and we had some great times working on a project in Chicago. We shared some long cab rides back and forth from O’Hare to the work location and had a lot of laughs.
Trevor is a great man and will be missed at DHS.
It was an honor to know him.

I served with Whaley while I was on the USS Seattle AOE-3. Whaley was always true to himself and helpful to us younger brothers. He was always studying and looking to better himself. Overall, he was a genuine brother, a rare breed. Rest easy my brother. ONE LOVE

Renee, Tiff, and TJ, no one can prepare you for a loss; it comes in like a strong wind. Take comfort in knowing Trevor is resting in the arms of the Lord. He was a very special person, everyone he came in contact with he made laugh, smile and always feel comfortable. His spirit was very big and loving.
