Obituary of Dr. Joseph Howard Graham

Dr. Joseph Howard Graham of Silver Spring, Maryland, entered peacefully into eternal rest on January 12, 2018.

Joseph was born on September, 23, 1933 to Pauline and Lorenzo Graham in Richmond, Virginia. He was also predeceased by his sister Cormay Wilkinson and brother Bruce Graham.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years Vanette Louise Ray, son Kevin Eric Graham, daughter in law Karen Bray and many cousins and relatives.

Dr. Graham received his Under Graduate Degree in Chemistry from Virginia Union University.  He received his Doctorate in Chemistry from Howard University where he also taught this subject for many years.  Dr. Graham was employed by the FDA and retired in April 1994.

Joseph's passion was music. He was an active member for many years at Southminster Presbyterian, Southern Maryland Choral Society and Village Protestant Church at Riderwood.
